Inheritance Tax Planning service available nationally.
Inheritance Tax takes 40% of your taxable estate.
That is a lot, though many of the people we advise on Inheritance Tax Planning turn out not to have an IHT problem at all (at least, once we have advised them.)
We are not financial advisers, so we don’t advise on investment products (or comment on them except in general terms) but we can help clients to set up an overall Inheritance Tax reduction plan.
In a lot of cases, we will suggest the shape of the IHT plan and help you to implement the overall structure. However, we may well suggest you talk to your financial adviser about some parts of it where either investment advice or life insurance might be relevant.
Why talk to us about Inheritance Tax Planning?
We are in the unique position of having a former Tax Barrister (now a solicitor) who has worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers and Arthur Anderson to give IHT advice.
What we don’t get involved in is leading edge structures which are likely to be challenged by the Taxman, perhaps successfully. We offer good, sound, practical Inheritance Tax planning advice.
The initial inheritance tax review at very modest cost which will be credited against any further work you may wish us to do resulting from the review. At this meeting, or shortly thereafter, we will advise you of our recommendations and indicate the cost of implementing them where applicable.
The initial review is not followed up by a detailed report, it is just an overview of your IHT situation and is designed to see whether it is appropriate to go into greater detail or not.
Why not give us a ring, or use the enquiry form and we will advise you of the current cost of the review. It can be carried out by telephone or in our offices. We can visit you to discuss inheritance tax planning if you prefer but that would be on a time costed basis (unless you are local to Eastbourne and disabled in which case there is just the normal fixed fee for the review).
